Mississippi state Senator likes USSE

So many people are unconvinced about U.S. Sustainable Energy Corporation (PINKSHEETS: USSE) and the claims it makes about its fuel (oh, say, for instance, see Is cellulosic startup full of beans?) that it's news when someone comes forward to sing the company's praises as emphatically as has State Senator Bob M. Dearing of Mississippi, the home state of USSE.

USSE is now sharing a letter from Senator Dearing to USSE CEO John Rivera, which, in part, reads:

What I have witnessed today is something I have never seen in my 28 years of legislative experience ... I am proud to have witnessed your process converting one bushel of soybeans, not soy oil, into five gallons of cellulosic-based biofuel, both liquid and gas. I was astounded by your fuel's capability of running clean in both diesel and gasoline engines in a 50/50 blend ... after witnessing your process with my own eyes, I stand ready to support you.

Today, USSE also released new test results by AmSpec that appear to support the quality of its biodiesel product.

Test results suggested improved flashpoint, higher viscosity, dramatically lower sulfur (PPM), less copper corrosion, higher cetane index, less carbon residue and improved lubricity over conventional Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel.

"Our 'OD 66' or Oxygenated Diesel meets and exceeds all ASTM specifications," said USSE CEO John Rivera.
