Power Air taking CEO applications again

Just two weeks after introducing the fuel cell company's first commercial product at the Consumer Electronics Show, Power Air (OTC:PWAC) CEO Remy Kozak has made a different kind of announcement.

Stepping down from his executive position "effective immediately," Kozak is to remain with the Livermore-based company until the end of February to ease the transition of power.

Kozak replaced former Power Air CEO Stephen Williams in May 2006. He was at the helm when Power Air teamed with H-Plus Eco (see Power Air enters into joint venture in Korea).

Power Air founder H. Dean Haley is to oversee company operations until a new CEO is appointed.

Described as pocket-sized version of 40 AA alkaline batteries, the company says it remains on track to start shipping its ZPAC 40 fuel cells in the latter half of the year (see Power Air expects to ship fuel cells in 2008).
