Editorial

Dallas Kachan Dallas Kachan
Publisher, Acting Editor

Previous editor and reporter for Canada's national news service the Canadian Press, with a background covering science, environmental and business issues in print and broadcast. Fifteen year career in high tech, including top marketing jobs at tech startups such as SoftArc (acquired by OpenText), Caspian Networks and Ambient Software. Senior consultant to dozens more with Silicon Valley's Regis McKenna, and own practice. Board member of publicly-traded Centrinity (TSX) and other private companies. Frequent speaker at cleantech events.

David Ehrlich David Ehrlich
Reporter

Previously reporter at The Daily Deal. Began a career spanning radio, wire, print and online news at New York's all news radio station, 1010 WINS AM. Moved into financial journalism at Bridge News, but re-strategized when the company was plunged into financial ruin. At The Deal, enjoyed writing stories about former company's Chapter 11 filing. Has worked numerous freelance jobs as the guy people always get to fix printer jams. The smell of burning ink powder in the morning has fueled many a feature story, email rant and inappropriate chat room banter.

Avenger The Cleantech Avenger
Bon Vivant, Dilettante, Profligate

Auto mechanic, the only honest one in New York, but lazy. Kinda dumb. Stares a lot. Loves the New Jersey Devils. A recovering germaphobe. Has a Jesus fish on his car. Knows how to install a disposal (clarkman) for a shower. Is a face painter. Loves Arby's! Loves dip (why can't it be a meal?). Wore a man-fur then switched to the 8-ball because he saw Jerry wearing it and he looked like a "dandy." Steals Jerry's "move." High-fives too much.
