Irish company paints rosy picture of U.S. ethanol and biodeisel markets based on what it sees across the pond.
A trade analyst has published a new report measuring the growth in the American ethanol, biodiesel and other biofuel industries at 40-50% per year.
Research and Markets, which is, interestingly, based in the U.K., writes that the biofuel industry in the U.S. is poised for tremendous growth in the future as biofuels find new applications in the aviation, automotive, fuel cell and other sectors. Its report, New Opportunities in US Biofuel Market (2006), provides an overview of the global biofuel market but drills down with detailed focus on the U.S. market.
Emphasis has been put on the analysis of critical aspects of the industry, such as supply and demand structure, challenges & opportunities and others that will help clients to gain exclusive information about the industry. The report also states that continued high oil import costs will force the government to further promote biofuels more aggressively. [editor's note: duh!]
Overviews, key facts, financials and stock performance are included for key players, including ADM, Corn Products International, Amerigroup Corporation and Eastman Chemical Company. Data was sourced from industry sources, government agencies, trade associations, industry news and developments and data from some 3,000 databases.
