New solar player rolls out first modules

Solar EnerTech of China (OTCBB: SOEN) saw its first batch of two dozen dark blue solar modules roll off its new production line today.

Each module delivers 170 watts of "quality-built solar electric power generating capability", said the company.

The company intends to market its products under the name "SolarE". It plans to ship as many as two to three containers of the product to North America in December in anticipation of its marketing efforts and to capitalize on the growing demand for the product.

Solar EnerTech is a photovoltaic (PV) solar energy cell manufacturing enterprise based in Shanghai, China, where the Company is establishing a 42,000-square-foot manufacturing and research facility in Shanghai's Jinqiao Modern Science and Technology Park. The company has also established a marketing, purchasing and distribution arm in California's Silicon Valley.
