Don't have a market for your technology? Make one. Then franchise.
That's what tiny Xynergy (PINKSHEETS: XYNG) of Carson City, Nevada is planning to do for its hydrogen generator, details of which are vague, but which it touts as "the only one in the world that can turn hydrogen into real power in a cost efficient manner."
The company plans to open a restaurant this summer in Boulder, Colorado using its hydrogen generator as its primary power source. The restaurant is also to feature "revolutionary" refrigeration systems currently in prototype form developed by Xynergy.
The restaurants are to have a green theme, and are being designed in such a way as to make the generators a focal point of the interior of each restaurant to highlight the technology, the company said.
Not the Xynergy restaurant.
Boulder has long been associated with eco-friendly consumers and was the origin of U.S. restaurant chains Rock Bottom Brewery, Old Chicago's Pizza, Spicy Pickle and Noodles and Company.
Xynergy hopes its yet un-named chain will enjoy success by association.
"We will announce the name of our flagship restaurant in the coming weeks. We can only say that it will be a water themed restaurant and it will be powered by water," said Kevin Brinkworth, Xynergy Chief Operating Officer.
The company's website is here. But take a seasick pill first.
