The Research Analyst will be responsible for managing multiple research projects across different cleantech sectors, authoring numerous deliverables, and executing qualitative and quantitative analyses. The analyst may also be responsible for public presentation of Cleantech Group research to clients, media and policy-makers.
The Analyst must be able to communicate effectively with a wide variety of constituencies: investors, cleantech vendors, scientists and engineers. The Analyst must be able to thrive in an analytically and intellectually demanding environment, turn around deliverables in a quick timeframe and potentially manage junior researchers. Travel, including international, and public speaking, may be required of the Analyst.
A Research Analyst is expected to become a leading industry expert in his/her field of coverage.

San Francisco or London
Requirements:
Superior analytical and writing skills, demonstrated by primary authorship on numerous, specific research deliverables that were delivered to clients or published
Previous research analyst experience at a research firm, management consulting firm, investment bank, minimum 3 years
Previous operating or financial experience in a firm in the energy, water, waste management or other industry, minimum 3 years
Experience managing junior analysts
A strong record of academic achievement: B.A or B.S. required; MBA or M.S. preferred
Prefer previous exposure to international markets, preferably Europe, China, or India
Must be able to spend significant time traveling, including international travel
